Boračko jezero is setteled at north- east side of mountain Prenj at 405 m altitude. It is the biggest mountain lake in Bosnia and Herzegovina.
It has elliptical shape. Its dimensions are: length 706m, width 502m and depth 14m. It is one of the most beautiful natural lakes in Bosnia and Herzegovina. Borački potok tributes at Boračo lake and river Šištica swells from Boračko lake making a nice waterfall (height of waterfall is 30m). Lake is surrounded with complex of different kinds of trees. Lake is rich with different kinds of fish such as carp, Californian and river pastrmka. Lake is famous for crayfish freshwater.
Boračko lake is a nice place for bathing, relaxation and recreation, preparations of sport teams. It is rich with different kinds of fish and that is reason why many fisherman comes to this lake.
