Officially in Europe pyramids do not exist. But still, in heart of Bosnia, 30 kilometres from capital Sarajevo, in Visoko town, pyramids exist.. Pyramids are discovered by a mr. Osmanagić Semir at 2006. and till than 1 million guest has came to witness that.

Process of international verification of this discovery is actual. Team of Egyptian experts has confirmed, at public presentation held on 26.06.2006, that “VIsočica and Plješevica are product of human work”. Experts from the other countries confirmed also that this is monumental archaeological excavation.
Precision measuring performed by Geodetic institute of Bosnia and Herzegovina has proved that north side of Bosnian pyramid of Sun makes triangle with equal length lines (365 meters) and angles of 60 degrees. Exploration of this excavation is going on without any stops and delays, and it generates great positive energy around this complex.

Prenj

Prenj is mountain massif in Herzegovina with many peaks, and the highest one of them is Zelena glava (green head) 2155m altitude.

      A great D-tour on your
way to the coast or to Hutovo blato, this quaint oriental-style town is
located about half an hour's drive from Mostar, less than 30km south on
the M-17 road towards the Adriatic.

This unique settlement, listed as a UNESCO
heritage site and recent reconstruction has returned the town to its
original form. Besides its stunning oriental architecture and Ottoman feel,
Pocitelj hosts the longest operating art colony in southeast Europe.

Artists from around the world gather here to
paint, among other things but importantly, the shiny red pomegranates
and figs that grow in abundance on the hills of Pocitelj.

					The Hadzi-Alija Mosque has been
reconstructed as well as the Sisman-Ibrahimpasina medresa and the
Gavran Kapetanovic house, all of which are open to visitors. The most striking object in Pocitelj is the Sahat-kula , a
silo-shaped fort that towers from the top of the hill above the town.
It housed watchmen and military to guard against possible invasion from
the Neretva Valley.

Kraljeva Sutjeska

      Arriving in Kraljeva Sutjeska feels
like stepping through a time warp. As the industrial areas of Kakanj
disappear as you near this tiny, ancient village with its large Franciscan
church and monastery one will find well-kept houses, gardens in
perfect shape and the reflection of the sun off the water is caused by the
white stones and not a discarded can.

You'll find that many of the
women, particularly the older ones, still dress in traditional attire.
Most are farmers but you'll find the odd carpenter or shop owner hammering
away or selling his wares as well. The Dusper House in the village is the
oldest house in central Bosnia, dating back to the early 18th century. The
house has been designated a protected national monument. Restoration has
not yet begun but the house can still be visited and is an impressive
      example of authentic Bosnian architecture.

One of the oldest mosques in
Bosnia and Herzegovina is situated at the entrance of this village. It was
built in a few days only, and has never required any maintenance since -
or so the story goes. The mosque and its wooden minaret are open to
visitors. You’ll enjoy the (local language) accounts of its past, told
proudly and with a twinkle in the eyes by the lady who maintains this
      beautiful little place of worship.

Kraljeva Sutjeska and the citadel at
Bobovac were once the seat of two Bosnian kings , Tomas and Tvrtko, of the
Kotromanic Dynasty. The last Bosnian queen, Saint Katarina, is mourned
today by the local townswomen who still wear black scarves as part of the
traditional dress. When the Ottomans conquered the fortress at Bobovac,
Queen Katarina either fled or was exiled to Rome, never to return to
Bosnia. It was reported that her children were taken to Istanbul, where
her son converted to Islam and became a major figure in the Ottoman
      administration.

					Sutjeska is
one of Bosnia and Herzegovina's oldest parks. It is famous
for the Partisan victory over the Germans in WW II and there
are large stone monuments commemorating the event. The park
itself is 17,500 hectares of magnificent and untouched
					wilderness.

					          It
hosts one of the last two remaining primeval forests in
Europe, called Perucica. Beech trees tower over 60
metres high and endemic black pines stem from the rocky
faces that protect the ancient forest. Skakavac waterfall
can be seen from the look-out point – this seventy five
metre plus waterfall is dwarfed by the massive blanket of
green trees that cover the valley. The Sutjeska River has
carved a stunning valley through the middle of the park and
divides Zelengora (Green Peaks) Mountain from Maglic
					and Volujak Mountains.

                    Bosnia
and Herzegovina's highest peak , Maglic at over 2,386m,
is located in the park, directly on the border with
Montenegro. It presents a challenging climb for even
experienced hikers. Zelengora Mountain is great for hiking
and walking and there are several newly renovated mountain
huts on the mountain. Bear and wolf sightings are common.

Kresevo

		Famed for his
Christian writings and as a master of the Slavic language, Father Grga
Matic was recorded in history, particularly Franciscan history, as one of
      Bosnia's greatest writers.

He taught and wrote in a remote valley tucked
below the Bitovnja and Lopata mountains in the tiny town of Kresevo.

		The
Franciscan monastery there has been serving its community for centuries
and the Catholic traditions here are very strong. The monastery has a
rustic museum, library and gallery, and, as in most Franciscan monasteries
in Bosnia and Herzegovina, the monks are very welcoming to
visitors. With no more than a few thousand inhabitants, medieval
Kresevo expanded with the arrival of German blacksmiths.
				In several areas
of Bosnia, small German and Ragusan (present day Dubrovnik) mining
      communities were
established. The noble families of the Bosnian state were
keen to exploit the plentiful resources of gold and silver but they didn't
have the skills to do so. The craft was passed on from these migrant
miners and can be found today in the old town.

		Kresevo
is known for its old Bosnian architecture. The walls are made of clay and
straw plaster and the roof tiles are specially treated cherry-tree
      shingles. The village
      of Vranici ,
just a few kilometers from Kresevo, is home to the finest examples of this
old type of building. It's a great place to visit. There is also an
interesting 'holy spot' at a medicinal water spring at Dezevice
      called
        St.
      Jakov Water ,
named after a 15th century Bosnian vicar.

            This region
characterizes the diversity of its above-ground and underground waters.
The source of the Buna is one of the largest and most beautiful in
Europe.

It is the finest example of an underground karst river.
It flows out of a 200m cliff wall and single-handedly creates the Buna River.
Unsurprisingly, the Ottoman sultan was impressed, and ordered a tekija
to be built right next to it. This 16th century house/monastery was
built for the Dervish cults and is still one of the most mystical
places in all of Bosnia and Herzegovina.

It is open to visitors all year round and
serves cold drinks, tea and Turkish coffee in a beautiful garden
overlooking the source of the River. The region is also known for the diversity of its flora and
					  a number of endemic species.
At lower altitudes there are many evergreen plant and deciduous thicket
species, while at higher altitudes in the hills there is sparse forest.
Fertile cultivable land is suitable for the agriculture typical of the
Mediterranean climate.

Bjelasnica and Igman

These two names are synonymous with

When the Stari most, or Old Bridge, collapsed from tank

Even mentioning the bridge for years

Since ancient times the Neretva has permitted
the prosperity and growth of human communities and, as such, omitting
the Neretva from the account of Herzegovina would be like writing about
Egypt without reference to the Nile.

This turquoise gem has created fertile valleys from Glavaticevo to Doljani and upon which most life in the region thrives. The Neretva River has its beginnings in Zelengora Mountain in the Borac region
and like all rivers in Bosnia and Herzegovina the river initially flows
towards the north, or, more precisely in this case, the northwest. In
this upper section, the river forces its way between the massifs of the
Visocica and Bjelasnica mountains in the north and the massifs of the
Crvanj and Prenj Mountains in the south. It flows through numerous
canyons and a smaller number of fertile valleys.
Unlike the other rivers in the country, the
Neretva River does not succeed in forcing its way exclusively north.
Passing to the north of the Prenj massif, the river turns south near
the mouth of the tributary Rama. It then forces its way through the
canyons between the Prenj and Cvrsnica mountains until it reaches the
Mostar Valley where it loses the character of a rapid mountain river.
The Neretva then pleasantly meanders through Capljina into the delta
between the Croatian towns of Metkovic and Ploce, from where it flows
into the crystal clear Adriatic Sea.

Rakitnica

             Rakitnica River is one
of the biggest tributary streams of Neretva river. It formed a 26 km

Rakitnica River Canyon is one of the deepest and most profound gorges in Europe.
It is a natural wonderland. The entire length of the canyon is lined
with endemic types of flora and fauna. Bears, wolves, wild boar, pine
martens, wild goats all take refuge in this difficult to access canyon.
As many as 32 endemic plants, flowers, and trees can be found in this tiny region of the Dinaric Alps. The crystal clear water, fed by the high mountains above, is potable for the whole length of the canyon region.

At almost 1,500m, the village of Lukomir, with its
					  unique
stone homes with cherry-wood roof tiles, is the highest and
most isolated village in the country. Indeed, access to the
village is impossible from the first snows in December until
late April and sometimes even later, except by skis or on
					foot.
A newly constructed lodge is now complete to receive guests.
From there, you can do some magnificent hiking in the area
along the ridge of the Rakitnica Canyon, which drops 800m
					below.

Lukomir is known for its traditional attire , and the women
still wear the hand-knitted costumes that have been worn for
centuries. A version of history of present-day Lukomir can
trace much of their ancestry to the Podvelezje region of
Herzegovina. These semi-nomadic tribes would come to
Bjelasnica in the summer months because of the abundance of
water. Podvelezje, a dry plateau above Mostar, could not
provide the herds with enough water to sustain themselves
over the summer months. For reasons not entirely known, many
of the villagers from the Podvelezje region eventually made
permanent settlements in the canyon and later in the place
					where it is now located.

About Konjic

         Konjic is attractive
far more by its abundance of natural beauty that completely surrounds
the town. The Neretva River running through the centre and Prenj
Mountain hovering behind dominate Konjic.
The old town is quite nice to stroll through.
The center of town is rather pleasant too, with stunning views in every
direction. The main street is often closed to vehicle traffic and is
filled with the young and old walking, hanging out in café's or selling
their wares along the riverside markets. People in Konjic are very easy
going and friendly so feel free to ask someone for directions or to
engage in some small talk. Since the early 1900s, Konjic has come to be
known for its woodcarvers.

The craft developed a commercial dimension
during the Austro-Hungarian occupation in the early 20th century.
Before World War II Konjic had a couple of dozen woodcarving
businesses, who sold their elaborately-carved heirloom furniture and
boxes within the Austro-Hungarian empire and beyond.

Bosnia and Herzegovina is the heart shaped land that
lies in the heart of southeast Europe.

It is here that eastern and western civilizations
met, sometimes clashed, but more often enriched and reinforced each other
throughout its long and fascinating history.

		Bosnia and Herzegovina is a
long name for a country that measures just over 50,000 km2. Bosnia covers
the north and centre of the country with its name probably derived from
' bosana ', an old Indo-European word meaning water, which Bosnia has no
      short of.
The southern region of ancient Hum, ruled by Herceg Stjepan
(Duke Stjepan),was later named Herzegovina after the region was conquered
      by the invading Ottomans.

Perhaps what is most important for the visitor
to know today, though, is that Bosnia and Herzegovinais a stunningly
beautiful country with a vast array of landscapes, cultures, traditions
and people. And as the old cliche goes 'people make the place' – and
BiH prides itself on its hospitality and treating our guests as if they
were family members. And family we take to heart.

North of Jablanica, behind the Lendava
Tunnel, the Jablanicko Lake system begins. This area has developed a
tourism niche on the lake. with several good restaurants on its shore.
The entire length of the lake is lined with pensions, hotels, private
rooms and campgrounds.

The lake has some of the best fishing in the
country as proved by the locals standing on the side of the road
selling their 'catches of the day' - large carp, trout, bass and other
fish. Jablanicko Lake is safe for swimming but we recommend it only to
good swimmers as there is no lifeguards or any other safety mechanisms
in case of an emergency. The campgrounds are very simple. There is
access for campervans and places to pitch a tent but no hook-ups for
electricity or water. The place is usually crowded with local people.

Boracko jezero
